Mr. Dan Parker Smith

Mr. Dan Parker Smith, 66, of Plains, GA passed away Thursday November 23, 2017 at Phoebe Sumter Hospital. A visitation is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday November 28 at the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services, 612 Rees Park Americus, GA. There is not a scheduled funeral service at this time. Mr. Smith was born on March 5, 1951 to the late Henry Wilburn and Ruby Smith. Mr. Smith was a Train Engineer for The Seaboard Coastline Railroad and a member of The Plains United Methodist Church. Survivors include: one son, Rodney Smith of Longmont, CO, and a brother, Jim Smith (Ladelle) of Americus, GA. Aldridge Funeral Services 612 Rees Park Americus, is in charge, of these arrangements.
