Claude Leonard Walters

Mr. Claude Leonard Walters, III age 82 of Plains passed Monday, May 31, 2021 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Plains United Methodist Church. Rev. R. T. Beverly will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 1st from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral Services. Friends are welcome to visit the family residence at 308 Church Street Plains. Claude Leonard Walters, III was born December 27, 1938 in Plains, Ga. He was the son of the late Claude Leonard Walters Jr. and the late Beth Murray Walters. Mr. Walters started school at Plains School in 1944 and graduated in 1957. After graduating high school, he joined the Army reserves in 1957 and went active duty for a period of time. He served in the reserves until 1961. He started college at Georgia Southwestern and transferred to Georgia Tech in Atlanta. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Management.
