Clarence Marvin Cooper

Mr. Clarence Marvin Cooper age 70, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 17, 2015 at Perfect Care in Americus.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services Rev. Hugh DeLoach officiating burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be David Morgan, Bobby Jones, Bud Harrod III, Jim Harrod, Mike Sevy and Brent Romiti.  Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Jones, Robert Stinchcum, Dr. Ray Williams, David Stinchcum, Burton Thomas and David Barrett.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening January 19, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. other times the family residence 619 Felder Street.      Mr. Cooper was born March 29, 1944 in Americus the son of the late James William Cooper and Ruby Lee Childers Cooper.  He was the owner/operator of Cooper Electrical Service for over forty five years in Americus.   His hobby was he loved to play music and his guitars, played in several bands in the community,...
