Charlie Scott "Tink" Tinker

Mr. Charlie Scott "Tink" Tinker age 77 passed away at his residence Sunday afternoon July 13, 2014. Funeral services will be held from the Graveside Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Oak Grove Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Rev. William Hall will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening July 14, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and other times the family residence 204 Walnut Drive Americus. Mr. Tinker was born August 20, 1936 in Bridgeport, AL. the son of the late Scott A. Tinker and Jessie Grider Tinker. He was a Truck Driver and Heavy Equipment Operator for many years with Reeves Construction Company of Americus. He was a member of the Moose Club of Americus and was a member of M. B. Council Lodge No 13 F. & A. M. also in Americus. Mr. Tinker was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Tinker is survived by two daughters, Gail Middleton of Americus, Terri Tinker of Chester, SC.
