Charles Crisp Wall, Jr.

Mr. Charles Crisp Wall, Jr. age 94 passed away Saturday morning August 3, 2013 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.  A Celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at First United Methodist Church, Rev. Jim Smith, Rev. Bill Dupree and Rev. Joy Wilson will officiate.  The remains will be entombed at the Columbarium at First United Methodist Church.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon August 4, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.      Mr. Wall was born December 28, 1918 in Ellaville, Ga., son of the late Charles Crisp Wall, Sr. and Lila King Wall.  He graduated from Schley County High School and attended Georgia Southwestern College.  He served in the US Navy from 1942 through 1945.  On the luckiest day of his life, Charlie married Miss Eunice Brown of Birmingham, AL.  Among his many honors Charlie served President and secretary of Americus Rotary Club and on Board of Directors.  He was president of the Americus Country Club, Treasurer of the...
