Mr. Charles Snead

Charles B. Snead, age 87, of Americus, GA, originally from Red Oak, GA, died peacefully in his home Tuesday afternoon July 19, 2016. A Memorial service will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery with Military Honors on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 12:00 PM. Dr. Bryan Myers will officiate. Mr. Charles B. Snead was born on August 16, 1928 in Atlanta, GA, son of the late Charles Carmichael Snead and the late Alberta Steber Snead."Buddy" was an accomplished and prolific artist, a professional musician adept in both classical and jazz performance, a dedicated and decorated Naval Officer, highly successful executive in the insurance industry, and most importantly a steadfast husband, wonderful father, doting grandfather and great grandfather.
