Charles Reese Medlock

Mr. Charles Reese Medlock age 88 passed away at his residence in Plains Tuesday evening March 12, 2013.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday March 15, 2013 Plains United Methodist Church Rev. Lee Smith officiating burial will follow at Concord Cemetery.  Serving as active pallbearers will be Grandsons Jeremy Alford, Bryan Alford, Michael Moncus, Will Moncus, Schuyler English and Bryan Joiner.  Honorary Pallbearers Gavyn Maxwell, Gage Maxwell and Teressa Smith Sunday School Class.  The family will be receiving friends at the family residence 1843 US Hwy. 280 West Plains, Ga.      Mr. Medlock was born December 21, 1924 in Plains, Ga. the son of the late William Verlyn [Mose] Medlock and Elizabeth Grace Smith Medlock.  He was retired from Estes Surgical Supply where he was a sales manager.  Mr. Medlock was a Veteran of the US Navy Serving in WWII.  He was an active member of the Americus American Legion Post # 2 and very active member of Plains United Methodist Church until his health...
