Mr. Charles Wesley Craig

Dr. Charles Wesley Craig, 86, of Americus, GA, passed away Sunday March 10, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Cornerstone Church. Pastor Kevin Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in the Andersonville National cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 14th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral Services. Mr. Craig was born May 16, 1932 in Flint Michigan, son of the late Herbert Wesley Craig and the late Leona Mae Woods Craig. Dr. Craig attended elementary and secondary schools in Flint, Michigan and held a Bachelor of Arts Degree, a Master's Degree in School Administration and a Doctor of Philosophy in School Administration from the University of Michigan. Dr. Craig was a teacher and a school administrator for Flint, Michigan Public School District during the 1960's and 1970's.
