Carolyn (Gibbs) Handley

Mrs. Carolyn Handley age 78, passed away Saturday afternoon May 25, 2013 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center in Americus.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh Harbort officiating burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Todd Handley, Jr. Brent Harris, David Childs, Butch Thornrose, James Harper and Dewey Willis.  The family will be receiving friends at the family residence of Karen and James Harper 328 LaCross Road Americus.      Mrs. Handley was born June 26, 1934 in Rochelle, Ga. the daughter of the late Delmar Ernest Gibbs and Emily Faye Coleman Gibbs.  Mrs. Handley was retired from Manhattan Shirt Company working in the buttons department and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.      Mrs. Handley is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Karen H.
