Mrs. Carol James Halstead, age 70, of 105 Glenwood Drive, Americus, GA passed away surrounded by family on November 18, 2016. A funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 21, 2016 in the chapel of First United Methodist Church, 200 South Lee Street, Americus, GA. Reverends Jerry Roe and Bob Halstead will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at Aldridge Funeral Services. The family will also receive friends and family at the family residence, 105 Glenwood Drive, Americus, GA. The following will serve as active pallbearers: Melvin Kinslow, Ed Munn, Dan Torbert, Steve Wurtz, Ray Baldwin, and Plez Hardin. Officers, as well as the directors, of Citizens Bank will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Carol James Halstead was born in Americus, GA.
