Miss Carlene Pollock

LESLIE, GA--Miss Carlene Pollock, age 80, a former resident of Leslie, GA, died peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Perfect Care in Americus, GA. Funeral services will be held from the graveside at Leslie City Cemetery in Leslie, GA on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 4:00 PM. Reverend Jim English will officiate. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services on Sunday, April 23, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Miss Carlene was born on June 22, 1935 in Leslie, GA daughter of the late John Carl Pollock and the late Lizzie Kate Perry Pollock. She graduated from Union High School in Leslie, GA. She was a member of the Leslie Baptist Church and the Leslie Hobby Club. Miss Carlene will be remembered as a gentle, loving woman who loved animals, enjoyed painting and had a wonderful sense of humor.
