Mrs. Brenda Summers

Brenda Wells Summers passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, surrounded by family at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home at the age of 81, after an extended illness. She was born in Tifton, Georgia on January 2, 1943. Brenda was the daughter of the late Willis Daniel Wells and Mary Frances Sikes Wells. She graduated from Tifton High School in June of 1961. Shortly after graduating high school, she married the love of her life, Wallace M. Summers, on June 25, 1961. They were married 63 years. They resided in Tifton, Adel, and Valdosta before moving to Americus, Georgia which they called home for over 55 years. She was a wonderful mother to her three children and enjoyed spending her days at home with them. Brenda was an avid sports fan, who first and foremost, loved to watch her kids at any and all sporting events. Brenda and Wally enjoyed watching South Georgia Technical College basketball games.
