Ms. Brenda Bush Crawford, age 70, passed away April 16, 2025 at Perfect Care surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held Monday, April 20, 2026 from 1:00 P.M to 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. The funeral service will be held Monday, April 20, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. following the visitation in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Internment will follow at Rehoboth Baptist Church. Rev. Damon Fountain and Rev. Walt Deloach will officiate these services.

Brenda Bush Crawford was born September 4, 1955 in Troy, Alabama to the late John Paul and Martha Dean Bush of Americus. Brenda passed away leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and deep love for those around her. She was well liked by all her classmates and carried that same friendly, welcoming spirit throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she met.

Brenda loved her family and friends wholeheartedly. She found great joy in spending time with them, whether it was on lively all-girls shopping trips, family gatherings filled with laughter, or spontaneous travels, she was always ready to go, no matter the destination. Her adventurous spirit and enthusiasm for life made every moment with her memorable.

She especially cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, taking every opportunity to spoil her grandkids and great grandkids with love, attention, and thoughtful gestures. Her kitchen was often the heart of the home, where she expressed her love through cooking and baking, creating meals that brought everyone together.

Brenda also had a gift for storytelling, often sharing fond and vivid memories of her younger years. Her stories were filled with humor, wisdom, and a sense of connection that made those around her feel closer to her and to one another.

She will be remembered for her generous heart, her joyful spirit, and the love she gave so freely. Brenda Kay Crawford’s presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who knew her.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Leslie Hartsfield (Jarrett) of Americus. Her three grandchildren; Trevor Jennings (Linsey), Kaylyhn Jennings (Zach Britt) and Braden Jennings (Ashlyn Shaw). She is also cherished by two great-grandchildren; Harper and Connor Jennings. Her sisters; Monica Bush Horne (Sport) and Johnna Bush Hortman. Her niece, Kerri Lloyd (Michael) and nephews; Michael Hortman (Halley) and Patrick Hortman. Her uncle Frank Bush and aunts; Estelle Bush, Joanne Bush and Dot Driggers also survive along with tons of loving cousins who will cherish her memory.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Nolan, Brother-in-law Michael Hortman and by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
