Braunda Kay (Jarrell) Sawyer

Mrs. Braunda Kay Jarrell Sawyer age 63, passed away Tuesday morning April, 1, 2014 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus.  A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Hugh Harbort officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at other times the family residence 205 Memorial Mile Americus.  The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers Brock Moore, Chandler Moore, Brent Frost, David Jarrell, Don Mason, Chad Ciani and Charlie Speegle.      Mrs. Sawyer was born February 22, 1951 in Americus the daughter of the late Elijah Victor Jarrell and Sarah Howze Jarrell.  She was a retired Registered Nurse at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital after many years of service.  She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Americus where she was the pianist for several years, graduated from Plains High School and where in her senior year she was Ms. Plains High.      Mrs. Sawyer is survived by her beloved husband Kenny...
