Mr. Boyette Wayne Tatum

Mr. Boyette Wayne Tatum age 87, of Americus, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at Lillian G. Carter Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 30, 2025 in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Rev. Stephen Fripp and Rev. Hugh Harbort will officiate the service. The family will greet friends Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow the funeral service in Oak Grove Cemetery. Boyette Wayne Tatum was born March 18, 1937 in Schley County. He was the son of the late John H. Tatum and Mary Short Tatum. Mr. Tatum was a retired Lineman from Sumter Electric Company. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was a devoted member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
