Mr. Billy Frank Cooper

Mr. Billy Frank Cooper, 66 of Leslie, passed away Friday September 6. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. William Hall will officiate. Interment will follow at Andersonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 10, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral Services. Mr. Cooper was born March 16, 1953 in Americus. He was the son of the late Charlie Frank Cooper and the late Jane Elizabeth Hayslip Cooper. Mr. Cooper was a dedicated employee of Georgia Southwestern State University for 40 years serving as the certified Mechanic Supervisor and general maintenance department. He served with the Sumter Fire and Rescue for 34 years served with the Sumter County Auxiliary Deputies for 30 years.
