Betty Joyce Adams Edmonson, age 82, of Americus passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the Nazarene Church Cemetery in Eldorendo, GA. Rev. David Grubbs will officiate the service. The family will greet friends Monday, July 15th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Betty Joyce Adams Edmonson was born August 23, 1941 in Doerun, GA. She was the daughter of the late Dillard Jordan Adams, Jr. and the late Georgia Surfinea Roberson Adams. She retired from Standard Containers in Homerville, GA, where she worked for many years. Mrs. Edmonson was a loving wife of 41 years and a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved and cherished her family and friends. She was Baptist by faith.
