Bette (Wellons) Macquirter

Mrs. Bette Wellons MacQuirter, 76, died peacefully on July 5, 2015. A visitation will be held at the at Aldridge Funeral Services on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 6 – 8 P.M. Aldridge Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services.  Reverend Jeff Gassett will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Mrs. MacQuirter was born on November 7, 1938 in Americus, GA. Mrs. MacQuirter was a devoted homemaker. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Americus, Georgia. She is survived by her husband Lawrence Cleveland MacQuirter, Sr;  her daughter Deanna MacQuirter Matthews of Americus, Georgia; two sons, Larry MacQuirter, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia and Gordon D.  MacQuirter, Sr. and his wife Kathy of Thomasville, Georgia; her three brothers, Randy Wellons and his wife Marline of Americus, Georgia, Alvin Wellons and his wife Gail of Americus, Georgia, and Rusty Wellons and his wife Honey of Jacksonville, Florida; three grandchildren, Gordon...
