Ms. Beatrice Alston Wheeler

Ms. Beatrice A. Wheeler age 93, of Americus, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, October 29 from the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services with the Pastor Dick Gill officiating. The family will receive friends at Aldridge Funeral Home Sunday from 3 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church in Preston, GA. Ms. Wheeler was born November 18, 1923 in Preston, GA to the late Cecil Charles Alston and Mary Will Edwards Alston. Ms. Wheeler was a Homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Dawson, GA. Survivors include Three daughters: Elaine Morrison of Americus, GA, Ruby Allmon (Clay) of Sylvester, GA and Janice Baldree of Sycamore, GA; Six Grandchildren, Sheryl Mull of Enterprise AL, Michelle Robertson of Americus, Vicky Vollentine of Hamilton, GA, Michael Mercer of Charleston, SC and Wendy Harris of Tifton, GA.
