Mrs. Barbara Ann Pinkard

Mrs. Barbara Ann Jackson Purvis Pinkard, age 88, passed away Sunday March 2, 2025 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Marty Dillon will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday, March 4th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services and other times the residence of Cherryl Teal 421 Brady Road Americus. Barbara was born March 23, 1936 in El Paso, TX. She was the daughter of the late Carl Eldon Jackson and Eveanna Madeline Kessel Jackson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and our sunshine. She owned and operated Barbara's Alterations for many years. Barbara was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a former church secretary.
