Mrs. Aurora Adebowaie Adunni Owolabi

Mrs. Aurora Adebowale Adunni Owolabi, age 85, passed away at Phoebe Sumter Hospital in Americus, GA on October 31, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 12:00 PM (noon) in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Pastor Rhys Key will officiate. Interment will follow the funeral at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services and at other times at 179 Quail Drive, Americus, GA. Mrs. Owolabi was born on December 4th, 1929 in Lagos Island Local Government Area of Laos State to the family of Late Pa Isaiah Akinyemi Bajulalye (fondly known as Papa Custom) and Mama Hannah Tinuola Bajulaiye (née Oni). The third child of four siblings, Mrs. Owolabi started her educational pursuits in 1937, when she attended the Baptist Academy, Broad Street, Lagos. Upon completion of her primary education in 1942, she proceeded to Reverend Luka's school for secondary education (high school)....
