Mrs. Audrey Inez Johnson

Mrs. Audrey Inez Johnson age 91, of Americus, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. William Hall will officiate the service. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery and other times, at the family residence, 837 Ridge Street Americus, GA. Audrey Inez Richards Johnson was born August 20, 1931 in Leesburg, GA. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Edward Richards and the late Una Bradley Richards. Mrs. Johnson retired from Piggly Wiggly formerly in Americus, where she worked as an Office Manager. After her retirement, She took care of her grandchildren. She attended Central Baptist Church and was a member of the Sun Shine Ladies Sunday School Class. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Martha Tuggle (Jim) of Americus, Inez Wiggins of Leslie and Vickie Wells (Chuck) of Douglas, GA.
