Annie Maude (Maude) Scott

Mrs. Annie Maude Varnum Scott, age, 83 passed away at her residence 1881 Metts Road Dawson, Ga. Saturday evening April 20, 2013.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday April 23, 2013 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services with Rev, Ronald Baxley and Rev. Howard Scott officiating burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Americus.  Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Scott, Brian Adams, Henry Scott, Ricky Rice, Richard Chambless and Kevin Scott.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the services 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. other times the family residence 1881 Metts Road in Dawson, Ga.      Mrs. Scott was born October 8, 1929 in Americus the daughter of the late B.L. Varnum and Mary Lou Young Varnum.  She was an LPN at Sumter County Hospital for around thirty years in Americus after that was at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center in Americus for several years and Wal-Mart for sixteen years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Americus. ...
