Annetta Snead

Mrs. Annetta "Anne" G. Snead age 89, of Americus passed away early Wednesday morning February 21, 2018 at Perfect Care. Funeral services will be held at the rostrum at Andersonville National Cemetery at 12 pm Friday February 23, 2018. Rev. Hugh DeLoach will officiate. Mrs. Snead was born November 5, 1928 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Stafford Worthington Graydon and the late Annetta Moore Graydon. She was a member of Southwest Christian Church formerly of East Point, Ga. and attended Central Baptist Church in Americus. Anne was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and devoted matriarch to a family who loved her very much. She was also a musician, a music teacher, and a valued mentor to many young people through her life. She was a member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in the 1950's and was active in many roles through her life, but her primary and most important role was that of mother.
