Anita Maria Foster

Anita Maria Foster, 90 of Americus, passed away Sunday August 22, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Andersonville National Cemetery. Rev. Michael Truitt will officiate the service. The family will receive friends following the service. Anita Maria Heinemann Foster was born November 12, 1930 in Gottingen, Germany. She was the daughter of the late Herman Heinemann and the late Auguste Heinemann. She worked for the former Lee Drug Store in Americus for many years and was a Homemaker. Mrs. Foster was of the Lutheran Faith. Survivors include her only son Chuck Andrew Foster of Americus and two grandchildren, Christopher Andrew Foster and Ashleigh Nicole Foster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Amous Andrew Foster.
