James A. Bullard Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. James A. Bullard age 79, passed away early Monday morning July 1, 2013 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Rev. William Hall will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening, July 2, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Bullard was born October 26, 1933 in Doerun, Ga., son of the late A.H. Bullard and Georgia Ann Brown Bullard. He retired from Reeves Construction Company; where he was a truck driver. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Bullard is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Caryn Robinson [Kenny] of Dixie, Ga. Sons and daughters-in-law James Richard Bullard [Sherri] of Plains, Ga., Jeffery Scott Bullard [Terry] of Valdosta, Ga.; Step Daughters Sherrie Anne Orr of Richland, Ga. Bonnita Sue Mizell of Dothan, AL. and Billie Jean Gore of Dothan, AL. and Step Son Dorsey Roland McMath of Americus. Mr. Bullard was preceded in death by his first wife Bobby Jean Mitchell Bullard, second wife Martha Ladonna Milam Bullard and third wife Edna Kate Parks Bullard. A number of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Aldridge Funeral Services 612 Rees Park is in charge of these arrangements.
