Ms. Betty Sue Lapinski

July 6, 1949 - April 4, 2022

Betty Sue Lapinski age 72 of Americus, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Damon Fountain will officiate the service. A private interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service in the chapel on Saturday. Betty Sue Harden Lapinski was born July 6, 1949 in Americus. She was the daughter of the late Roy Ellis Harden and the late Sara Frances Coogle Harden. She was a loving mother, grandmother and caregiver. Survivors include a daughter- and son-in-law, Barbara Lapinski Russ ( Rockki) of Nicholls, GA. A son Johnny Heath Lapinski of Americus. Three sisters and brothers-in-law, Annette Barnes of Americus, Ginger Pervis (Buddy) of Albany and Kitty Wisham (Bill) of Americus. One brother, Steve Harden of Sylvester. Three grandchildren, Mallary Wiggins of Americus, Kesler Wiggins of Americus and Emily Wiggins of Americus, GA. A sister-in-law, Patricia Harden, a cousin Linda Harrod and her dog Otis also survives. In addition to her parents Ms. Lapinski was preceded in death by a brother, John Harden and a brother-in-law, Mack Barnes.
