Mr. Emre Thomas Bulloch

Emre Thomas Bulloch, 34, passed away unexpectedly August 20, 2023, in San Diego, California. Mr. Bulloch was born May 7, 1989, son of Steve and Fusun Bulloch of Merritt Island, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Reverend Dennis Stalvey will officiate. Emre never resided in Americus, but he lived some of the best times of his life here. He loved his extended family: Grand Ma, Grand Pa, Uncle Lee, and Uncle Tommy. Working around the farm and playing with his three boy cousins and three girl cousins always gave him great joy. He especially loved his grandmothers, Nell Holman, and Berin Arman. Emre could get away with almost anything when he turned on the charm to them. Their smiles let you know that they saw through it but let him get his way. That is why Emre has been returned to Americus so that he may rest in peace beside his beloved Grand Ma. Emre also had a loving extended family overseas in Turkey. Emre spent many summers with his Turkish cousins and worked to speak Turkish with them. They are spread from the UK to Germany and Turkey. They are all shocked and saddened with his sudden death. Emre wanted to have a large family of his own. He had a son, Bryce Thomas Nolan. Emre was an Eagle scout and a very good wrestler, making State two times. Emre was always looking for social success rather than academic success. He surprised himself when he discovered his ability in math. He excelled in Civil Engineering. After Florida State University, Emre had a variety of jobs. He tried CAD drafting but did not like working alone in front of a computer (they were for gaming!) He tried construction and then surveying. Money was good but it is hot out there. So civil engineering skills led to soil and concrete testing. That led to Construction Supervision. Emre worked his way up to being the Construction Superintendent for WBE Contracting LLC in Carlsbad, California. He was working on the construction of a multimillion-dollar house on a mountain in Chula Vista, south of San Diego, California. WBE recently won several multimillion-dollar contracts with the Corp of Engineers and the US Navy. Emre was on the path to be a star performer within WBE. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bulloch is survived by his grandfather, Thomas E. Holman of Americus, one son, Bryce Thomas Nolan of Veria, Florida, a brother, Dr. Rayford “Ray” Bulloch of Portland, Oregon and uncles, Lee Holman (Catherine) of Woodstock, Georgia and Thomas Holman (Michele) of Canton, Georgia, his Uncle Sali Arman and a number of cousins also survive.
